Wheelchair-accessible taxis are billed at the standard rate. The lift fee ($26.35) is charged to the ACT Government and is not passed on to the passenger.
Fares shown are maximum regulated rates. The fare displayed on the meter and on your receipt is authoritative. Corporate and individual account holders may have negotiated rates.
When to book ahead.
Our dispatch runs 24/7, but a bit of lead-time during these windows means faster pickup and priority allocation.
Friday & Saturday nights
From 9pm — Civic and dining precincts are busiest. Book 30 minutes ahead where possible.
Weekday mornings
7am–9am for airport and school runs. Pre-booking the night before guarantees pickup within 5 minutes of request.
Sunday evenings
Inter-state returns bring airport demand. Book ahead for departures after 5pm.
Major events
Concerts, National Multicultural Festival, Summernats — book 24h+ ahead for maxi taxis.
